Meeting on Thursday mornings it's a friendly atmosphere where everyone concerned enjoys the class and works up to their own abilities.

The Tuesday Club is a lunch club run by volunteers alternate Tuesdays throughout most of the year. The accent is on well cooked fresh food of two courses plus a drink.
It is open to our Senior Citizens, many of whom now live alone and some who may find it difficult to get out - a lift can be provided. A short interval talk is also often given to help the digestion.
As an example of a meal given in October, we enjoyed a boiled ham from Pyne's the North Petherton butchers with real pease pudding, runner beans and carrots grown on the allotment with blackberry and apple crumble and real custard to follow. The cook on this occasion was Marcella Baxter and we are privileged to have also Bill Quy, Sue Back and Heather Richards & Lynda Patten who rotate.
There is an annual £4 fee to cover insurance against being poisoned - that's a joke - and just £3 for each meal. New members are invited to contact the organiser Dave Patten on 490782.
